These are the tee shirt necklaces we are going to make at the April Granny Girls' meeting. If you want to make one, bring an old (or new) tee shirt and a sharp pair of scissors.
If you want to make the white one you will also need a needle and thread and a 12" square of felt.

Crochet Headband Pattern
I found a YouTube tutorial that shows you how to crochet the headbands we made at the last Granny Girls meeting and I've added it to the blog.
If you are more comfortable with reading patterns, click on the link and it will take you to a very easy pattern from Red Heart.
Both will help you if you can't remember the instructions Hallie gave us and you can refer back to them over and over.

Crochet Headbands
This is the crochet headband we made at the last Granny Girls. I learned a lot and hope my next one is much better. We had so much fun...I hope you can join us next month.

The First Meeting
I just got home from the first gathering of the Granny Girls. We had such a great time. I almost finished my headband and 2 or 3 of the "grannies" actually finished theirs before they left. I have pictures but will have to wait until tomorrow to put them up.
Next month the gathering will be on April 14th at the Vogue again. Plan on joining us.

It's Official!
The first meeting of the Granny Girls will be this
Thursday, March 10th from 7-9 pm at The Vogue (247 Cliff Street).
Come join us for a fun evening and learn how to make those stylish crochet headbands with a crochet flower embellishment. All you need is a size J or K crochet hook, 2 colors of yarn and a button.
We will meet every second Thursday of the month to learn one of the lost arts and support each other on our journey to fabulousness! Put it on your calendar so you won't miss out on any of the fun.
See you there!
